O mercado de produtos de marca própria no setor alimentar na Europa atingiu os 302 mil milhões de euros, no ano passado, mostram os novos dados da PLMA e NielsenIQ. Em valor, a quota das marcas de distribuição cresceu 1,2%. A marca própria representa agora 37% das vendas no retalho de base alimentar na Europa.

A NielsenIQ estudou 17 mercados para o International Private Label Yearbook da PLMA, dos quais 16 relataram um crescimento nas vendas de marca própria no ano passado. A única exceção, a Suíça, registou um declínio marginal de 0,4%.
